Abstract

BasedonthesoundingdatefromcaptiveboatoverthehinterlandofTaklimakanDesertinwinterof2008,theatmospherestabilitytherewasstudiedelementarilyusingthreedifferencemethodswhichareTemperaturedifferencemethod,Temperaturedifference-WindspeedmethodandRichardsonnumbermethod.Resultsshowed:(1)ThediurnalchangeoftheatmospherestabilitywasobviousinTazhong,atnightthestateoftheatmospherechangedfromstabilitytoneutraltheninstabilitywiththeheightincrease,andthesurfacelayerwasinstableduetotheimpactofthesolarradiationindaytime;(2)Theatmospherestabilityhassignificantlystratificationwiththeheightincrease,thestableandtheinstablelayerappearedalternately;(3)Theresultscalculatedbytheabovethreemethodsweredifferent,whichreflectedthattheatmospherestabilitywasinfluencedbytemperature,windandturbulence.
